The story is a classic comedy of errors. Manu discovers Bablu's existence and realizes he can use their identical appearance to evade the law. He kidnaps Bablu’s mother, "Bebe" ( Farida Jalal ), and takes over Bablu’s life. Chaos ensues as Bablu is repeatedly arrested for Manu's crimes, while Manu experiences the simple, well-meaning life of the chef.
