The film follows an outraged father who takes violent revenge after his 12-year-old daughter reveals she has been the victim of a sexual crime. Because the story is told in reverse, the audience initially sees the father as the aggressor/offender, only to eventually understand his motives as the true events are revealed in the final "seconds".
