Final Fantasy Viii Remastered Switch Nsp -update- Jun 2026

Released on September 3, 2019, the Final Fantasy VIII Remastered significantly overhauled character models, Guardian Forces (GFs), and weapon textures. While the pre-rendered backgrounds remain largely in their original low-resolution state, the new, high-fidelity character models stand out sharply, offering a much cleaner look than the original PS1 sprites.
