Created by (under the pen name Wong Chak) in 1962, the series is the longest-running Asian comic. It follows the misadventures of Old Master Q , a mischievous man in traditional Chinese dress, and his friends Big Potato and Mr. Chin .

Old Master Q frequently finds himself at odds with "modern" 1960s/70s youth culture, including hippies and rock-and-roll trends.
