If you lose your last emperor in a failed scenario and the game tries to force New Game+, you can instead search for the (1-byte, 0-40ish). Change it to 0 (default Gerard Leon), then edit LP/HP back to normal. This resurrects your entire lineage without losing progress. You’ll have to manually re-equip gear, but it’s better than losing 15 hours.
